You have advised that you think you may be a whistleblower
or the complaint is a PID
or that you don't know whether you may be a whistleblower / PID.
A whistleblower is someone with a special type of complaint that is treated differently to the way other workplace greivances are managed. A PID may be relevant if you are complaining about a government organisation.
Companies are required to investigate them differently to protect whistleblower / PID identities
and if you are deemed a whistleblower / PID there are legal protections available to protect you from detriment, such as;
harassment or intimidation
harm or injury, including causing them psychological harm
damage to property
damage to reputation
damage to business or financial position
cause any other damage.
If you want to attract the whistleblower / PID protections
you must meet certain criteria about;
